Privacy policy

This policy explains how Trade Study handles information. Guest practice is designed to work without an account.

Guest sessions

If you practise without signing up, we do not ask for your name or email. Topic practice progress stays on your device. If you sit a full mock, we set a cookie and store a short-lived anonymous session on our servers so the free daily mock limit can work. That record is not tied to a name or email.

Accounts

If you create an account, we store the email and password (hashed) you provide, plus progress you choose to save. We use that data to run your login, mocks, and explanations. We do not sell it.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. Database records (syllabus, questions, anonymous guest mock attempts, and accounts if you create one) are stored in Neon Postgres in the region we configure. Those providers process data on our instructions.

Your rights

If you have an account you can ask us to access or delete the personal data we hold. Guest mock use stores only an anonymous session cookie and mock attempt records, not your name or email.
